It is suitable for protecting the mattress throughout the year, both in domestic bedrooms and in settings where the bed is used frequently. The cotton construction promotes breathability and can be used in every season, while the perimeter zipper allows the mattress protector to be removed without having to completely lift or move the mattress.
Mercerized cotton has more compact fibres than untreated cotton, with a smooth surface and greater resistance to repeated use. The textile structure promotes air circulation and helps limit the sensation of moisture on the surface. The full perimeter zipper also makes it easier to remove the mattress protector for washing and maintenance, which is useful when the cover is used and washed frequently.
