Right of Withdrawal – European Directive 2011/83

Pursuant to European Directive 2011/83, transposed in Italy with Legislative Decree of 3 December 2013, the customer has the right to withdraw from the purchase contract for any reason, without having to provide explanations.

This right can be exercised within 14 days from the date the purchased goods are received. The customer must notify CORREDO ITALIANO® of their intention to exercise this right.

This right of withdrawal is available exclusively to the consumer-customer, i.e. the natural person purchasing goods for purposes not related to any professional activity, and who therefore does not indicate a VAT number on the order form.

Please Note:

  • Customers purchasing with a VAT number cannot exercise the right of withdrawal.
  • The right of withdrawal CANNOT be exercised if the product to be returned has been used, soiled, damaged or has had its tags removed, or if the original packaging or any included accessories are missing.
  • It is not possible to withdraw from the purchase of only part of a single product.

ORDER CANCELLATION BEFORE SHIPPING (Right to Reconsider)

The consumer-customer may exercise the right to reconsider and request the cancellation of the order within a maximum of 48/72 hours from placing the order, and in any case before receiving notification of shipment.

The request must be sent via email to rma@corredoitaliano.com, or alternatively by phone using the contact number provided on our homepage.

Once the returned goods are received and their condition and completeness verified, our company will refund the payments received from the consumer without undue delay and in any case within 14 days from the date the returned items are received.
The refund will be processed using the same payment method used for the original transaction, or, upon customer request, via a discount code for future purchases on our webstore.
Please note that any payment collection fees (such as PayPal or credit card commissions) withheld by the payment provider will be deducted from the refunded amount.


RETURN PROCESS (Returning Delivered Goods)

  1. Within 14 days of delivery, the customer must notify their intention to return the item by sending an email to rma@corredoitaliano.com, including their full name and the order number (as indicated on the delivery note or order confirmation email).
  2. Upon receiving the request, CORREDO ITALIANO® Customer Service will authorize the return and send a confirmation email (RMA – Authorized Return).
  3. The item must be carefully packaged to avoid damage during shipment. The original packaging may be used, and the product must include all original components. We recommend using an insured courier service.
  4. Return shipping is at the customer’s expense and risk. The customer is responsible for the product during return shipping. In case of loss, theft, or damage, CORREDO ITALIANO® - PICCOLO CORREDI reserves the right to withhold reimbursement for damages incurred.
  5. The customer must send the return within 5 days from the return authorization date.
  6. Customers may request pick-up of the return by a courier arranged by CORREDO ITALIANO®. In this case, the service fee (paid by the customer) ranges from €6.90 to €39.90 within Italy, depending on the nature and weight of the items. The exact amount will be communicated prior to confirmation. For international returns, rates will be determined on a case-by-case basis and shared with the customer, who may then choose whether to accept or ship independently.

Upon arrival of the goods, CORREDO ITALIANO® will verify the integrity of the items and the presence of all original components (including labels, tags, images, and packaging).

The company will refund all payments made by the consumer, excluding shipping costs (including any charges incurred for delivery or return services), within 14 days from receipt of the returned items.
Refunds will be made using the same payment method as the original transaction or via a discount code for future purchases, upon customer request.
Please note that shipping fees (even in case of free delivery offers) and payment collection fees (e.g., PayPal or credit card commissions) will be deducted from the refunded amount.

Customers who exercise the right of return within the required timeframe are only liable for any reduction in the product's value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to determine the nature, characteristics, and functionality of the product.

To determine the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods, the consumer should handle and inspect them as they would be allowed to do in a physical store. Therefore, during the withdrawal period, the customer must handle the products with due care.

In the event of damage during return shipping, CORREDO ITALIANO® will inform the customer (within five working days of receiving the damaged goods), so they can promptly file a claim with their selected courier and seek reimbursement for the insured value of the product.
